Are there concession (discounted) bus tickets?

No. GreenBus currently does not apply concession-document discounts — tickets are sold at the carrier’s fare. We are working on adding concessions and will announce them in our newsletter and blog.

How long does crossing the border by bus take?

Accepted Answer

Border-crossing time is already included in the total trip duration shown on the website and on your ticket. Border and customs control on international routes usually takes 1–3 hours depending on the checkpoint and traffic. GreenBus and the carrier cannot speed up control — it is regulated by government authorities. Prepare your documents in advance. Check requirements and timings with the customs service of the destination country, and see route details on the relevant route page.

Can I send a parcel by bus through GreenBus?

Accepted Answer

No. GreenBus does not offer parcel shipping and is not responsible for personal arrangements with the carrier. The service only sells passenger bus tickets.

Do I need to print my bus ticket?

Accepted Answer

In most cases — yes: a printed ticket is required to board. The exception is routes marked “printing not required”, where you may show the e-ticket on your phone screen. If a route has no such mark, you must print the ticket — otherwise the carrier may refuse boarding. The e-ticket is emailed to you right after payment.

How do I book a bus ticket online?

To book a ticket on GreenBus: 1) find a trip in the search form for your route; 2) fill in and check passenger details; 3) review the refund terms and public offer; 4) enter a phone number to access your Personal Account; 5) enter an email to receive the tickets; 6) click “Pay” and choose a payment method. Each booking has a payment deadline: if it is not paid in time, it is cancelled automatically. Tickets are issued and valid only after payment.

What is free seating and how do I choose a seat?

Accepted Answer

Free seating means the carrier does not assign a specific seat — it is set by the dispatcher at boarding. To get a comfortable seat, arrive early for boarding. If the carrier allows seat selection, click “Seat selection” during checkout to open the bus layout with available seats.

Find your trip in the search form on the homepage, or pick a destination among the popular routes — to Poland, Germany, Czechia and other European countries. You can pay right after booking with any Visa or MasterCard, or another method offered on the site. There is no booking fee. After payment, tickets are sent automatically to the email you provided and are available in your Personal Account.

We announce discounts and promotions in our email newsletter and in the blog. Most promotions are available only to subscribers, so we recommend subscribing.

How do I leave a review about the trip and the carrier?

Accepted Answer

After your trip, a trip-evaluation survey is sent to the email you provided at booking. There you can rate the carrier and leave a review. Reviews form the carrier’s rating on the site, helping other passengers choose the most reliable one.
