Prague welcomes thousands of buses from Ukraine every year — it is one of the most popular destinations for migrant workers, students, tourists, and those visiting relatives in EU countries. If you are planning a trip to the Czech capital or transiting through it, it is important to know in advance which bus station your route arrives at and how to get from there to your final destination. You can easily compare all available routes and buy a ticket online on GreenBus — the catalogue features dozens of carriers operating on the Ukraine–Czech corridor.
Florenc — Prague's main bus station
ÚAN Florenc is the largest bus terminal in the Czech Republic and the main arrival point for buses from Ukraine. Routes from Kyiv, Lviv, Uzhhorod, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi and dozens of other Ukrainian cities all arrive here.
- Address: Křižíkova 2110/2b, Praha 8.
- Opening hours: daily from 03:00 to 00:30.
- Metro: Florenc station (intersection of lines B and C).
- Trams: routes 3, 5, 8, 14, 21, 24, 26.
About 15,000 passengers pass through Florenc every day. The station hosts the largest carriers used by Ukrainians travelling to the Czech Republic and onwards across Europe: RegioJet, FlixBus, Eurolines, Ecolines, Tibus, Autolux and others. All of these companies are available for booking on the GreenBus website in a single search.

The station has everything you need after a long journey:
- 20 ticket counters with sales and information services;
- luggage storage (around 70 CZK per item per day, open 5:00–24:00);
- currency exchange offices (old hall 8:30–20:00, new hall 6:00–23:00);

Other stations worth knowing
While most Ukrainian routes arrive at Florenc, some carriers operate from other stations across the city:
- Na Knížecí (Prague 5) — next to Anděl metro station. Occasionally used by smaller carriers.
- Roztyly (Prague 4) — metro line C. Used for routes towards Brno and South Moravia.
- Černý Most (Prague 9) — metro line B, east of the city.
- Zličín (Prague 5) — metro line B, routes to western Czech Republic and Germany.
- Holešovice (Prague 7) — next to the railway station, convenient for train transfers.
- Dejvická (Prague 6) — metro line A, some international routes towards Karlovy Vary.
Always check the arrival station on your e-ticket — it will save you time and stress after 20+ hours on the road. On GreenBus, the arrival point is shown in the route details before payment.
Border control and documents
All routes from Ukraine to the Czech Republic cross the EU border, most often via the Slovak–Ukrainian or Polish–Ukrainian crossing points. For your trip you will need:
- a biometric international passport (valid for at least 3 months after your return date);
- for men aged 18–60 — documents in line with current Ukrainian military registration legislation;
- medical insurance valid in the Schengen area;
- proof of the purpose of travel (hotel booking, invitation letter, employment or study contract).
Border control usually takes 1–3 hours depending on the workload at the crossing point.
Getting from Florenc to the city centre and beyond
Florenc's location is one of its biggest advantages. You can reach the centre of Prague (Václavské náměstí, Old Town Square) in 5–10 minutes by metro. Václav Havel Airport is about 45 minutes away: take metro line B (yellow) to Můstek, change to line A (green) to Nádraží Veleslavín, then bus 119.
If your final destination is another city in the Czech Republic or Europe (Brno, Karlovy Vary, Dresden, Vienna, Berlin), buses leave Florenc in all directions every hour.
